Description: |
Far too often, managers focus their time and energy on proving that they're smart. They earn degrees and certifications, acquire and refine technical skills, and hope to be seen as a legal expert. Being smart is important, but it's not all one needs to be successful and fulfilled. Having an understanding and connection to one's emotions and how to manage emotional reactions play a significant role in a person's effectiveness. David Sarnoff of Loeb Leadership will present and guide us through honing these skills.
As a result of this workshop, participants will: • Have an increased understanding of emotional intelligence (EQ) vs. being smart. • Identify how emotions define how we show up at work and the implications of those emotions for others • Help attorneys develop and identify strategies to improve interactions with others. |
