Chapter Announces a three part series on Leadership:

We all have the capacity to inspire and empower others. But we must first be willing to devote ourselves to our personal growth and development as leaders. Leadership is about setting goals and achieving results. Several components are necessary to reach your goals and to establish your own genuine leadership style. Three of the most vital components are: attitude; addressing the specifics; and being self-aware. This three-part series will address each of these components and how you can start to master each one. Each workshop will build upon each other.

Chapter Announces Annual Conference scholarships

The Edward P. Ross Education Scholarship supports members of the Capital Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators in their pursuit of further education as professional legal administrators.

Ed was a long-term, active member of the Capital Chapter as well as past-President. During his leadership tenure, he avidly promoted education, but most importantly educational opportunities in legal administration.

This year, the Capital Chapter is proud to honor Edward P. Ross with two scholarships for members' admission to and attendance at this year's ALA Annual Education Conference in Hawaii. Both scholarships include registration and up to $2,500 of reimbursement travel expenses.
