SAVE THE DATE | Registration is open for the ALA Holiday Soirée and 50th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, December 12th. It will be held at the St. Regis Washington DC, 923 Black Lives Matter Plaza NW, starting at 6:00 PM.
During the soirée, prepare to be serenaded by jazz quartet, Sweet Something while we also host the Silent Auction to benefit the Toni K. Allen Scholarship fund for the coming year. Every year, the ALA Capital Chapter Foundation awards this scholarship to a DC public school student who plans to attend college and who shows academic achievement, financial need, leadership ability, and engagement with the community. |
