Session Description:
Back by popular demand! Many Capital Chapter members who attended the half day diversity event in January stated that there was a lot of information jammed into a half day event. Members expressed that the panels that were presented could have been longer, and that they wanted more information from the panelists. At your request, we are bringing back a panel of D&I experts to discuss what drew them to the D&I space; their experiences in law firms with respect to D&I; their individual contributions at their current firm/organization, what they would/could have done differently to bring awareness at their organization/firm, and what YOU can do to contribute to the D&I space no matter how small or large your organization/firm.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn what D&I experts and attorneys have done at their respective employers to bring awareness to D&I
- Learn how to earn a seat at the table if you do not already have one
- Learn how you can contribute at any level at our organization/firm and how you can assist in changing behaviors at your respective firm
- Learn about the small things you can do without a budget to push the D&I agenda forward
