Job Description:
Internationally known law firm is seeking an Information Systems Support Coordinator to coordinate IS services and provide leadership to their DC office. Specific responsibilities will include: distribution and implementation of software changes on PC's, laptops, and servers; provide technical assistance and guidance to other IS staff in providing support to customer constituencies; ensure IS staff of Firm-wide policies, standards, operational guidelines and administrative procedures relating to the IS function; manage resolution of technology problems; encourage and promote team work between local and National Office IS resources, promote effective utilization of Firm provided software applications by internal customer constituencies; function as backup resource for IS Support Specialist as needed; provide after-hours support when needed and participate as an active team member on additional projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, extensive experience providing support in a Windows NT environment, Microsoft Office products, Exchange and SMS in a legal or professional services environment. Must display strong verbal, written, interpersonal and customer service skills. MS Professional Certification is highly desired.
