Job Description:
Well established Northern VA law firm is searching for an Office Manager to handle all aspects of administration of the firm approximately 70 lawyers and 70 staff members in two Northern VA offices. OM coordinates firm wide policies for the office and implements directives of the Chief of Office Services and Director of DC/VA Market Operations. Developing budget for facilities and support service functions and participates in the budgeting process for other relevant areas. Collaboration with others in management roles in various firm-wide administrative departments including Human Resources, Systems & Technology, Accounting, Marketing and Library. Special project management such as leases, allocation of office space, contract negotiations and other projects.
Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a professional discipline such as Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent experience. At least five years management experience, previous law firm or service environment experience beneficial. Strong leadership, management, problem-solving, organizational, and PC skills. Able to understand, influence, and serve others. Ability to select, develop, and motivate people and create a positive team environment. Ability to resolve office issues quickly and effectively and to determine appropriate courses of action for the organization. Flexible, well-developed interpersonal skills and able to interact with employees and others at all levels.
